Space Communication Technology Center (SCTC)
Scope
The Space Communication Technology Center (SCTC) is NASA-sponsored,
Center for Commercial Development of Space (CCDS) established in 1991.
It is a joint center, headquartered at Florida Atlantic University,
with researchers at the University of Florida and
the University of South Florida.
Its aim is
-
to develop commercially relevant space communication products,
-
to help commercialize NASA-developed space communication products,
-
to provide a research environment for faculty and graduate students with
research interests in space communication technology, and
-
to provide for meaningful exchanges amongst university and industry
researchers and practitioners.
Current Research Activities
Research efforts are segmented into three main areas:
