The Key West airport is serviced by several airlines: American Eagle, Continental Airlines, Delta Connection/ ComAir, United Express, and US Airways. Most flights to Key West are routed through Miami International Airport, but you can find some direct flights from other major cities in Florida. A shuttle bus is available from the airport to the conference hotel. If you are staying at the conference hotel or the Southernmost Motel and do not plan to travel elsewhere in the Keys, a car is not needed since "old town" Key West is very walkable and parking is very hard to find. If you are staying at one of the other alternative hotels/motels, consider using a taxi or walking rather than a rental car because of the parking problems in "old town".

An alternative to flying into Key West is to fly to Miami then take a bus to Key West. While this trip takes several hours, it provides an opportunity to see the beauty of the Florida Keys and a chance to get in the relaxed mood of Key West. Companies providing bus transportation are:
