Graduate Student Preeminence Award Increased

The University of Florida Department of Computer & Information Science & Engineering (CISE) is pleased to announce an increase in the stipend for the Graduate Student Preeminence Award (GSPAs).

The purpose of the GSPA is to assist Ph.D. programs to offer highly competitive research assistantship stipends to their strongest Ph.D. applicants. GSPA recipients in CISE receive a full stipend of $36,000 per year for 4 years.

The deadline for Ph.D. applicants who hope to attend the university in Fall 2017 is Dec. 5. For more information on admission requirements and how to apply, please visit the CISE website.

It is CISE’s mission to educate students, as well as the broader campus community, in the fundamental concepts of the computing discipline; to create and disseminate computing knowledge and technology; and to use expertise in computing to help society solve problems.
