Helmy Selected as ACM Distinguished Scientist

Ahmed Helmy, Ph.D., was selected by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) as an inductee honored with the designation of “Distinguished Scientist”.

Dr. Helmy’s main contributions include research in the fields of mobile networks design, mobility modeling, wireless measurements, network simulation and multicast routing.

The ACM Distinguished Member program recognizes the Top 10 percent of ACM worldwide membership based on professional experience as well as significant achievements in the computing field. ACM is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society.
