In general, we do not handle advising by phone. Email and Zoom are the preferred methods of communication at this time. Students are strongly encouraged to continue using email for issues or questions that may not require a meeting – email us at ugadvisors@cise.ufl.edu. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS include your UFID when corresponding, and ALWAYS email from your ufl address. Allow at least two business days for a response. During peak periods, response time may be longer – up to seven days.

UF Online Students:

Students should continue to contact Matt Williams at mwilliams@eng.ufl.edu for any advising needs. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS include your UFID when corresponding, and ALWAYS email from your ufl address.

*Please note: students should check their ufl email every day. It is the ONLY way we have to officially communicate to our students. If we send a message that the student fails to read and that failure negatively affects the student in some way, it is the student’s responsibility.
