My research is centered on computer networks, encompassing aspects of wireless networking (quality of service, congestion control and security), P2P and overlay networks (multicast algorithms, query scheme and incentive schemes), and Internet security (worms and DDoS). Now I am working on the next generation of routing/switching technologies with the assistance of emerging hardware technologies such as hardware based packet forwarding and multi-core processors in Cisco Systems.
I recieved my Ph.D. from Univeristy of Florida in May, 2007, and M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from Fudan University of China in 2003 and 2000, respectively.
