skiing and snowboarding are two of my favorite sports. I learned skiing at Uludag, Bursa. This is one of the largest ski resorts in Turkey. Later, when I was in New York, I joined RPI ski club and did a lot of cheap night skiing. That's when I also started snowboarding. The last few years I kept going to the Rockies for skiing. I skied and boarded at Park City, Salt Lake City (home of the 2002 Winter Olympics), Snowbird, UT and Steamboat Springs, CO. at Snowbird, Utah
at Oludeniz paragliding was my dream since I saw a TV show on hanggliding and paragliding when I was 10. During my college years I became a member of the METU paragliding club. My first jump was from a 500 feet hill at Eymir Lake, Ankara, right after a guy who jumped and broke his leg right before our eyes. Later, I went to Baba Mountain at Fethiye several times and had jumps from 1000 feet and eventually from 6550 feet. Fethiye has one of the world's highest and most spectacular (best Mediterannean view) take off sites.
cycling started to take most of my free time lately. My first bike was a folding Bisan Kaptan which I shared with my two brothers. Later, I had a peugeot road bike. When I was in college I got a Bianchi mountain bike. Lately, I enjoy my new Trek, cycling longer distances. Trek1000
gardening... I grow my own tomotoes, peppers, herbs, etc. Tomatoes
Other things that I love to do are traveling , playing soccer, tennis, badminton, racquetball, X-country skiing, hiking, ice skating, white-water rafting, dancing, watching movies, babysitting, cooking, and reading.
