About Me
I graduated from CISE with a MS in Computer Science, in 2010. During my time at UF, I worked with the Agricultural robotics group at UF wrting software for autonomous agricultural equipment. I also took a concurrent degree with the department and completed with a thesis titled - Robust autonomous guidance for citrus groves, under the supervison of Dr. Tom Burks.
During the summer of 2008, We developed a simple source-based software framework called 'DashBoard' to enable easy and reliable construction of control applications. We started out using the DashBoard framework to build an autonomous guidance platform that would guide a vareity of agricultural tasks like spraying, harvesting, scouting etc. By summer 2010, we had a working, prototype electric vehicle, capable of basic autonomous navigation in citrus groves.
Before attending grad school at UF, I have been working full-time as a software engineer for about three years.
