Gainesville Gana Sabha (founded circa Spring 2006) is a a group of families in Gainesville - all Indian classical music aficionados. For many years, these families brought in carnatic artists to perform full length auditorium concerts, hosted Navaratri and other house concert events for local and visiting artists, and conducted two devotional singing groups (Prarthana group and Bhajan group), a light music group (Sargam group).

GGS held biweekly jam sessions at various homes for 1.5 years before Spicmacay took over what are now the spicmacay-ggs jams

A few die-hard Gainesville Gana Sabha members are also the Trustees of the "Indian classical music and performing arts Endowment" (founded circa 2008) under the CHiTra (Center for Hindu Traditions) umbrella via the University of Florida Foundation.
