Title: G^2 Subdivision Algorithms Abstract: In this talk I will present two different ways to construct subdivision algorithms that generate G^2 surfaces. The first approach utilizes the eigenanalysis of the subdivision matrix of the Catmull/Clark or Loop algorithm. The resulting subdivision schemes generate G^2 surfaces with flat points. In the second approach the free parameters of the p-patch construction are determined such that the resulting surfaces allow for subdivision. These surfaces are G^2 without flat points.
