Geometry,Graphics,Vision, Visualization(and visual simulation)
- short  G2V2 - weekly seminar
covers a wide spectrum of areas to 
keep us up-to-date on each other's projects and:

<p>
1) when collaboration is called for, either for research or grant proposals, 
   we can achieve it in a quicker and more natural fashion. 

<p>
2) crosslists and announces talks from other UF colloquia/seminars,
(including our own Departmental colloquium and Barr lecture series)
that are relevant to our group -- we try to schedule our own talks
so as not to clash with these talks.

<p>
3) provides a regularly running forum, where possible collaborators
from other departments at UF can be given an opportunity to talk.
  
<p>

4) by knowing each others projects closely,
   we can recognize opportunities that may suit another person in
   the group and we can inform them. 

<p>
5) last but not least, grad. students will now have a 
   peer group with common interests, and will have a forum 
   to present their work.
