Officially accepted by the University of Rochester for the PhD program at CS Department!

About Me

I am a final year Master's student in CISE Department, University of Florida. I have completed my undergraduate study from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant in Mobile and Pervasive Computing Lab under the supervision of Dr. Sumi Helal.

For further information please refer to my resume.

Research Interests

Distributed Computing, Distributed Systems, Pervasive Computing, Ubiquitous Computing.

Education

  • Master of Science in Computer and Information Science and Engineering (May 2010)
University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (June 2007)
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Current Involvement

I am working in the project PerSim: A Verifiable Event-Driven Human Activity Simulator for Pervasive Spaces. The objective of my research is to propose a simulation model that can support a virtual pervasive space in terms of sensors relevant to a specific scenario or application and develop an event-driven, interactive simulator - PerSim to generate human activity data from the space.

The simulator allows the researcher to define several events that can happen in the space by customizing simulation parameters. It also provides a powerful web-based interface to enable incremental and collaborative design and realistic simulation of pervasive spaces.
