Otherwise, you will be brought to a page that allow you to browse the web pages, but your information will not be recorded in the study results.
Protocol Title: League of Legends Counter Pick Interface Redesign
Please read through the entire consent form before you participate in the study.
Purpose of the Research Study:
The purpose of this study is to see if redesigning the interface for a League of Legends counter picks website would lead to increased productivity and user satisfaction.
What will you be asked to do?
You will be asked to navigate through two different web interfaces that display information about the PC game League of Legends. After each web interface there will be a small survey that asks you to rate your experience. You may answer these questions if you desire for your opinions to be included in the study.
Time Required:
The study will take no more than 10 minutes.
Risks and Benefits:
The risks associated with the study are no more than browsing the internet on a normal basis.
Compensation:
One participant will be selected to win a gift card for Riot Points used in the game.
Confidentiality:
All information will be kept confidential and will not be personally identifiable. Each participant will be designated a code number which will replace your name in analysis.
Voluntary Participation:
Participation in the study is completely voluntary. You may choose not to participate.
Right to Withdraw:
You may withdraw from the study at any time without consequence.
