If you are interested in pursuing a TA position in one of my courses, drop a resume in my box in CSE E301 or with me in my office. I will contact you if I would like to schedule a meeting regarding your qualifications. Previously assisting in one of my courses, being a PhD student, having passed the PhD qualifying exam, receiving a 55 or higher on the SPEAK test, or being a native English speaker are the most influencing factors in my decision making process. |
Be aware that I do not make the final TA assignment decisions. My recommendations do influence the graduate affairs committee, however I am not a member of this committee and CISE departmental needs, commitments, and constraints often determine TA appointments. |
I become aware of final TA assignments no earlier than the first week of a given semester. Unless you are assigned to me by the CISE department, I am unable to request you during before your first semester within CISE. |

I do not have any research positions at this time. |
