Lectures 15-20 homework

(On Future Computing Technologies.)

We do not yet have specific homework problems or exercises on this material.  However, refer back to the grading gridelines page - remember, you can always do a short paper, write up lecture notes, make up your own project, prepare a presentation on this material, or attack some outstanding research problem in the field!  However, this is such a broad field that whatever you do should probably not try to survey all the technologies - there is just too much to learn - but rather, pick only one specific sub-area and focus on it in more depth.  (You can still cover multiple areas you are interested in, by turning in multiple assignments.)  See the reading list for some sources.  If you have trouble obtaining any of the listed items, let me know and I will help you.

To help you pick your focus topic, here is a list of sub-areas that would be of a suitable scale for the focus of a review paper or presentation.  You can also pick an even narrower topic if you like.
