Time and place: 1:00pm each Thursday in CSE E404

General goals:

  1. Talks by students who are interested in algorithms and theoretical computer science. These can be rehearsal of Ph. D proposal, Ph. D defense, presentation on conferences, etc.

  2. Discussion of research problems related to computational theory. This seminar provides opportunities for students to collaborate on projects that involve core algorithms or theoretical computer science in some form. There will be one main presenter who volunteers to describe problems related to their research during each meeting.

  3. There are no qualifier sessions in the summer.

Note: If you are interested in participating in the activities of the seminar and/or wish to receive emails about upcoming events please send an email to  jicheng@cise.ufl.edu.   If you want to give a talk on anything that concerns algorithms or theory, please send the talk title and your name to jicheng@cise.ufl.edu.

Request to Speakers: Please (encourage and) allow plenty of time for questions and discussion.
