Comments: Jeff,
I came across your entry on Tunisia. I enjoyed reading it and can relate to your language barrier challenges. I was in Tunis just 3 weeks ago due to an unplanned hospitalization, then missed my TunisAir flight to Marsielles due to ATM challenges so had to stay a further night at a hotel on the beach in Carthage. I was told several times that all people from Canada speak french. NOT! The only french I know is what I learned in elementary school and that won't get me far. I can also relate to your locked door story and purchasing camels! I do realize that your visit to Tunisia was quite awhile ago, but would love to swap further memories with you of the humorous challenges. I had lots of time in the hospital to journal my own 'adventure'! Feel free to write back.
