Born on December 19, 1973, James Hsiao moved to the United States in early 1975. Educated in Miami, Florida, James graduated summa cum laude in the spring of 1991 from Miami Sunset High School. In addition, James pursed endeavors in creative writing, music, and the graphic arts. A member of several honor societies, James held several offices in various clubs and served as first violist in the Greater Miami Youth Symphony.
After graduating from high school, James entered the University of Florida as a National Merit Scholar in the fall of 1991. He graduated cum laude from the College of Business Administration with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration focused in Computer Information Sciences. Following graduation, James enrolled in the University of Florida College of Engineering to pursue a Masters of Science in Computer Engineering. James's primary interests are system administration and web systems development. Currently working for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, James serves as a webmaster for the school district's Internet and Intranet presence.
