I am a PhD student, supervised by Prof Tamer Kahveci, and a member of his Bioinfomatics research lab. I am also a holder of the 2011 UF Alumni Graduate Fellowship. I graduated with a Computers and Systems Engineering BSc from Alexandria University in July 2007. I worked as a software developer at eSpace Technologies Until July 2011. I joined UF as a graduate assistant in August 2011, and joined the bioinformatics lab in January 2012.
My current research centers around problems in probabilistic biological networks, like pathway detection in protein interaction networks and reachability in probabilistic signaling networks.
