Optional Presentations

If you want to do a presentation in lieu of one exercise or quiz, please follow the following steps:

Pick a topic:

• Acoustical properties of an instrument
• Historical development of an instrument
• Previous work in synthesis of an instrument

Give me a piece of paper one week before your planned presentation day stating

• The instrument
• The topic

Last possible presentation day is April 11 2003.

I will give you feedback within 2-3 days with pointers to helpful references if I know some.

Prepare a 20-minute presentation.
