This project is both practical and educational. The simulation and its results can be used to better understand moths and their environment. It also provided the designer with a greater knowledge and understanding of simulation and the program design process. In the future, as food resources become more delicate, simulations such as this might help scientists discover ways of growing more food for less money by deterring pests and forming a better understanding of the natural world.
