About us:
The Agricultural Robotics & Mechatronics Group’s (ARMg) primary mission is, to develop automated machinery systems for agricultural production, with an emphasis on autonomous vehicles, sensing, controls and robotic manipulation.
The group’s primary areas of interests are associated with fruit and vegetable production with special emphasis on harvesting technologies. We are additionally interested in green house systems with an overall objective of improving labor productivity, worker health and safety in agricultural systems, production cost and efficiency, so that Florida agricultural producer can be competitive in a global market .
