About Me:My name is Andy Ng, and I was born in Barcelona, Venezuela. I started college in my hometown of Miami, Florida at Miami -Dade College, where I received my Associate degree in the spring of 2006. Currently I am a 5th year senior at the University of Florida completing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with an emphasis on software as well as a minor in Sales Engineering. I have witnessed three national championships, two in football (06 & 08) and one in basketball (07), since I moved to Gainesville and became a Gator. My goals are to graduate from the University of Florida and begin a successful career while inspiring others and hopefully making a difference in this world.Past Experience:Position: Software Engineering When: Fall 2009 & Spring 2010 Desciption: Real-Time Production Monitoring System Design A fully functional system for collecting, storing and accessing Value Stream performance data (key parameters) of the manufacturing process with the associated reporting tools for engineers and managers which will be tested and piloted in the Capital Equipment Value Stream.
