09/25/2001: Computational exercise #1: Implement the CANNY_EDGE_DETECTOR including the CANNY_ENHANCER, NONMAX_SUPPRESSION and HYSTERESIS_THRESH as summarized on page 71 in the Trucco and Verri book on the Lenna image. The exercise is due 10/18/2001. Show all intermediate outputs (ENHANCER, NONMAX and HYSTERESIS). You may reduce the image to 128x128 grayscale. Results must be shown for three different choices of Gaussian standard deviation and NONMAX_SUPPRESSION and HYSTERESIS_THRESH threshold parameters.
