Biographical Sketch
Andres Mendez-Vazquez is a Postdoctoral researcher scholar at the University of Florida. He successfully defended his Ph.D dissertation in December 12 of 2007 at the University of Florida.
He obtained his Master's degree in December 2002 at the University of Florida. He recieved his B.S degree at the University of Yucatan in 1999.
His research interests include landmine detection, sparsity promotion models, optimization methods, statistical methods for machine learning,
fuzzy measures and Choquet integration.
