Configuring Kismet on Nokia N800/N810 (OS 2008)

Step 1: Install the required packages like gainroot, Wireless Tools & Xterm
Note: It is necessary to enable the Red Pill Mode (Totally funny, concept from Matrix the movie)!!
Step 2: Download Kismet using mozilla browser in N800/N810 from here. Open the downloaded file using the application manager
Step 3: Launch Xterm and give the following command to edit the kismet configuration file
vi /etc/kismet/kismet.conf
change the value of logtemplate to /media/mmc1/%n-%d-%i.%l this will ensure that the log files are written into the memory card.
Step 4: Launch Kismet by giving the command kismet or launch by from the menu
NOTE: Do not ssh into the device and launch kismet!!! (Network manager is put to sleep by kismet, hence WiFi won't work)
Step 5: Press 'h' for help, 'Q' to quit kismet Happy Cracking!!!
