You are Visitor Number:
BTree | Red Black Tree | AVL Tree
♠ Description: Implemented insert/search API & the Dictionary modelled using these 3 data structures.
♠ Language: Java (Eclipse IDE)
♠ Takeaway: It was a term project , on a large scale , it could handle more than 1000000 words. Also I also did a performance stats pitting these 3 implementations against each other.
Actor Modelling
♠ Scala is a new powerful Language which can be extensible and at the same time abstract the lower level details from developers. I used actor modelling for all the projects during this coursework. Key challenges were to debug this Asynchronus model.
Gossip-Based Computation of Aggregate Information
♠ Implemented this paper by my Prof Dr. Alin Dobra using actor models in Scala. We implemented 4 different types of network (Full network | Line | Grid | Tree) for simulation stats and also as a proof of concept.
Distributed Debugger/Simulations
♠ Built a Logging software which had 3 main functionalities: 1. Control/Message path tracking using Google's Web Visualization API 2. Graphical Message timeline between distributed nodes display using Graphviz.
Apriori Algorithm
♠ Implemented using mysql as database and JAVA front end.
Applied recursive techniques to mine for the data pattern given as input.
Frequent Set
♠ An algorithm to efficiently retrieve the items which are frequently bought. Say like a suggetion engine which gives you the items which are dependent/frequently bought in supermarket.
These are the social/professional/personal media you can use to get in touch with me.
