Welcome to the web-site of Digital Epigraphy and Archaeology at the University of Florida! Digital Epigraphy and Archaeology is an interdisciplinary project initiated by scientists from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Classics at the University of Florida. The goal of the project is to develop new scientific tools for humanities and apply concepts from digital and interactive media to Archaeology and Art. An interactive demo of the Digital Epigraphy project is now available through our web-site. Our team publishes part of our recent results to the Journal of Machine Vision and Applications. A generous bursary is awarded to our project by the University of Oxford, UK for presentation of our work in the CIEGL congress.
