Warnings:
Please note that 99% of campus is parking by decal or visitor pass only on weekdays from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. You WILL get a ticket if you try and park without a pass or decal. This includes the parking immediately adjacent to McCarty Hall D, parking along Inner Road, and the parking garage at the corner of Museum Road and Newell Drive. The same goes for handicap spaces, state vehicle spaces, loading zones, or any other restricted areas -- DO NOT park in them whether you have a pass or not.
Some internal roads are closed from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The sections of Staduim Road and Newell Drive which run by the CSE building are closed from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Getting a Parking Pass:
Getting a parking pass isn't too hard. If you are visiting for a couple of days or less, you can get a daily visitor's pass from any of the guard houses which are at the main access roads to the central campus, or from the University Police Station on the SE corner of Museum Road and Newell Drive. Be advised that having a parking pass or decal by no means guarantees you'll find a parking space. During the semester, parking spots are hard to find during the day; if you want to be sure of parking near the CSE building, you should try and arrive before 7:45 am.
