CISE System Staff
The system staff consists of two classes of support personnel: administrators and consultants. Both play a specific role in the service of the CISE Department's computers and users.
Administrators
The administrators supervise the operations of the system staff, make high level decisions about the CISE computer system, maintain the system, and generally try to make sure everything runs smoothly. See an administrator if no one else is available, or if you have a problem that falls outside the authority of the other system staff members (typically, you will be directed to an administrator if this is the case).
Consultants
The consultants assist and educate CISE Department users. See a consultant if you need help with software or are interested in learning how to do something.
