Installing WS_FTP
Download the latest version of WS_FTP here.
Go to the folder to which you downloaded WS_FTP and exectute ws_ftple.exe. This can be done be clicking on the icon labelled "ws_ftple" in your download directory. This installation program will start. You will be given several installation choices.
Choose the option to Install WS_FTP LE and click on Continue.
Choose the option that most closely describes your current status. Click on Next.
Choose the options that most closely describe your intended use. Click on Next. The license agreement for WS_FTP will now be displayed. If you agree with the license, cliack on Accept. If you do not agree, click on Do Not Accept, and installation will abort.
Enter the path to the directory into which you would like WS_FTP to be installed. If this directory does not already exist, it will be created. Click on Ok.
Enter the path of the directory to which you would like downloads to be placed. When downloading a file, this directory will be the default, but can be changed at the time of download. Click on OK. Setup will now copy WS_FTP files into the installation directory.
Enter your full email address, including username and domain.
Enter the label that you would like to use for WS_FTP's Program Manager group. Icons associated with WS_FTP can be found under this heading on the Start Menu.
Installation is now complete. Click on OK to close the installation program.
