Guidelines for using CourseTool

    * Register on CourseTool with your name and a password.
    * After registration check that your username and password works.
    * DO NOT make duplicate accounts for CourseTool.
    * Submit all assignments before the deadline. Late submissions will be given zero credit.
    * You can submit assignments, download submitted assignments and view grades on CourseTool.
    * IMPORTANT NOTE FOR HW AND PROJECT SUBMISSION: NO submission will be accepted through email so be sure that your CourseTool account is working and if you have any problems contact TA  immediately. For ALL homework and projects, NO CREDIT will be awarded (yes, that means a ZERO) for failure to follow submission instructions, including submitting the wrong file, improperly jar-ed,  un jar-ed files, etc. It is YOUR responsibility to get it right. Downloading your submission, and checking it, should be considered essential. This only applies to ON-CAMPUS students.
    * Compress you files before submitting. Use the following command

            jar cvf HW1 filename1 filename2 .......filename n

    *  To decompress your files use the following command

            jar xvf HW1

    * Resubmitting an assignment overwrites the previous submissions of that assignment. So make sure every time you submit an assignment, you have jar-ed all the required files.
