11  04/29 Course grades have been posted on Sakai.

Your graded exam may be picked-up upon prior request in Dr. Thebaut's office (CSE 314-A) between 2 and 4 PM on either Thursday or Friday (April 30 or May 1), or by appointment starting Monday, May 4. Please send your request via e-mail to Dr. Thebaut before NOON on the day you wish to pick up your exam (to allow time for the exam to be copied). Include your name and UF ID number (as it appears on your UF ID card) in the request, and bring your UF ID with you when you come by to pick-up your exam.

EDGE students' exams will be scanned and posted on the UF EDGE website.

Suspected grading errors must be brougth to Dr. Thebaut's attention in writing by Friday, June 5 for consideration. (Complete and submit this form together with your unaltered exam.) Correction requests should only be made when you believe a GRADING ERROR was made; general "re-grading" requests will not be accepted. Note that partial credit policies, where applicable, have been applied uniformly and are not subject to negotiation.
10  04/27 Exam 2 raw scores (out of 171 possible points) have been posted on E-Learning in Sakai. (If your score is not posted, it may be because you have not yet signed the pledge at the end of the exam.)

A histogram of scores has been added to the Solution Notes already posted under "Practice Exams" on the course website.

On-campus students may pick-up their graded exam BY APPOINTMENT ONLY shortly after course grades have been posted (sometime later this week). More information about this process will be posted here.

Graded exams for EDGE students will be posted by UF EDGE after course grades are posted.
09  04/21 Exam 2 (with separate solution notes) may be accessed from the course homepage (under "Practice Exams"). Scores will be posted on Sakai when available – probably by April 29.
08  04/14 An error was found in the assertion given in problem (2)(d)(iv) of Exam 2 from Spring '14 which has now been corrected. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
07  04/09 Exam 2 will be held in class on Thursday, April 16, for all on-campus and Gainesville area EDGE students. EDGE students residing outside the Gainesville area should take the exam no later than Friday, April 17. See "Exam 2 Notes" posted on the course website (under "Lecture Notes") for additional info.
06  03/16 Exam 1 raw scores (out of 165 possible points) have been posted on E-Learning in Sakai. (If your score is not posted, it may be because you have not yet signed the pledge at the end of the exam.)

A copy of the exam with solution notes has been posted under "Practice Exams" on the course website. A histogram of scores appears at the end of the Solution Notes.

On-campus students may pick-up their graded exam in TA Bo Ma's office (CSE 337) starting tomorrow (Tuesday, 3/17) using the following procedure: Contact Bo via e-mail (bbo AT cise DOT ufl DOT edu) NO LATER THAN 10 AM (Monday-Friday) to let him know that you wish to pick-up your exam on that day. You may then pick it up between 3 and 5 PM or during this same period on a subsequent week day. (This arrangement will allow time to make a copy of your exam for our records.)

05  03/09 Dr. Thebaut will be unavailable during his regular office hours Tuesday morning, 3/10, but will be available between 4 and 5 PM.

03  02/12 As previously announced in class, Teaching Assistant Bo Ma <bbo AT cise DOT ufl DOT edu>, is available for office hours on Mon/Wed from 3:00-4:00 PM or by appointment. His office is CSE 337. Bo is quite familiar with the problem sets, lecture notes, and other course materials.
02  01/29 Guest Lecturer Joseph Cutrono, Technical Lead at Ultimate Software, will be presenting an in-class talk on Thursday, Feb. 5 about practical test implementation techniques/issues including TDD, with an emphasis on white-box testing. Joseph, a UF CoE graduate, was recruited by Ultimate Software in 2007. Ultimate Software specializes in cloud-based human capital management (HCM) functionality.

Note that as indicated in the course syllabus, class attendance at Guest Lectures is required for all on-campus students.
