10.11 (This is a simple problem once you realize the connection with dot products.)

11.11 (Exercise on using Euler-Lagrange Equation)

12.10 (This is an interesting problem to work out)

For Chapter 11, sections 11-1 to 11-6 are not particularly important. We have focused primarily on sections 11.7 and 11.8.
