The Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Department was founded as an inter-college department, which later joined the College of Engineering. The department is unique in that it maintains academic and research programs in the College of Engineering, as well as in the Warrington College of Business Administration and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
