Prabhat Mishra is a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) and a UF Research Foundation Professor at the University of Florida (UF). His research interests include secure and trustworthy embedded systems, design automation for quantum computing, and hardware security analysis using assertion-based validation, fuzzing, formal verification, machine learning, and side-channel analysis.
He received his B.E. from Jadavpur University, M.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur, and Ph.D. from the University
of California at Irvine - all in Computer Science. Prior to joining UF, he
spent several years in various companies, including Intel, Motorola, Sasken, Synopsys, and Texas Instruments. He is an IEEE Fellow, a Fellow of the American Association of the Advancement of Science, and an ACM Distinguished Scientist.
