Greetings from Laukik!

Hi, I am a Ph.D. student in the department of Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering at the University of Florida, Gainesville. I did my Bachelor of Engineering from University of Mumbai. Yes! the vibrant city of Mumbai, India is my hometown.

I am pursuing my PhD with Dr. Sanjay Ranka as my advisor and Dr. Alin Dobra as my co-advisor. We are working on problems in data aggregation for large scale sensor networks. I am also involved in the Grid Education and Outreach program of CHEPREO. I have experience in Grid Computing for Data Intensive Applications and have been involved in grid monitoring and scheduling middleware initiatives like SPHINX.

I enjoy music, movies and sports. Traveling or just hanging around with friends is a lot of fun too. Dont you concur that music sounds much better on long drives and that movies and sports are better enjoyed with friends around? And being from Gainesville, how can I not be following gator football??
